Abstract
August 28th, 1973, will mark the tenth anniversary of the March for Jobs and Freedom. A long decade ago, almost a quarter-million citizens of almost all races, religions and ranks joined in Washington to demonstrate, in the words of one of the speakers, Rabbi Joachim Prinz, then President of the American Jewish Congress -- that the denial of human dignity through inequality is the most urgent, disgraceful, tragic problem of our times.
