A rapid membrane filter technique for the concentration of plankton in treated water
Proceedings AWWA Water Quality Technology Conference. Portland, Ore, pp.591-606

Abstract
An illustrated description is given of equipment and the procedure developed for rapid concentration of plankton in treated water by membrane filtration; the low numbers of plankton in the water after treatment necessitated such concentration for enumeration to be effective. Results obtained by this method and by a centrifuging technique were analysed and were statistically similar.
