Allison Rusgo joined the Physician Assistant Department faculty in April 2016. She has practiced clinically in Emergency Medicine and inpatient Cardiology. Rusgo graduated from the University of Rochester in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in French. In 2010, she graduated from The Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University with a Master of Science in Public Health, concentrating in Global Health & Community Development. In the Physician Assistant department, Rusgo serves as the course director for several didactic-year clinical medicine courses and is the internal medicine clinical coordinator. Within the college, Rusgo is a member of CNHP’s Board of Global HealthCare Engagement. Additionally, she is a regional representative for the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants and a department editor for the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She also maintains clinical responsibilities as a hospitalist physician assistant at Einstein Medical Center-Montgomery.
