About
I am an Associate research professor and a head of Computational Physics Lab at the Nyheim Plasma Institute, Drexel University.
Primary research interests of our Lab are Applied Mathematics, Data Analysis and Fluid Mechanics. We perform full spectrum of analytical and computational work, from data analysis to nonlinear models.
In Applied Mathematics, our main focus is numerical modeling and development of analytical methods for multi-scale nonlinear dynamical systems.
We apply Data Science and AI methods for Space Plasma systems. We analyze satellites’ measurements and use our understanding of data to develop numerical and analytical models of the Space weather.
For Fluid mechanics we use commercial CFD software packages (such as ANSYS Fluent) to describe liquid and gas flows in many diverse systems: from interaction of high-speed trains with tornado to the flow of blood through a heart-assisting pump.
