Jacqueline Phillips, PhD is an associate clinical professor who teaches anatomy and physiology related courses for the Health Sciences, Physical Therapy, and Physician Assistant Programs. She received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from The George Washington University and completed her master’s and doctoral degrees in kinesiology at Temple University. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer and has practiced in the industrial and hospital settings.
Past research efforts have included sport concussion with a focus on ocular-motor assessments along with also investigating the best practices for concussion education programs. More recently, she has been involved with research projects revolving around the use of technology in anatomy and physiology courses. In particular, she has researched the use of interactive textbooks and polling platforms to help increase student engagement and success. In addition, she is also an advocate and author of open educational resources in her field.
