About

Dr. Gary specializes in feminist ethics and bioethics, with a focus on care work and technology. Before coming to Drexel, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hastings Center, where she is now a Presidential Fellow and continues to collaborate on projects at the intersection of care ethics and emerging technologies. She is co-editor of the scholarly blog of IJFAB: International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics and is a guest series editor for a forthcoming set of publications on health and incarceration in The Hastings Center Report. Her research has appeared in Philosophy Compass, Bioethics, The Hastings Center Report, and IJFAB: International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics and she is currently working on a book manuscript entitled The Limits of Care: Making Feminist Sense of Technology Relations. In addition to teaching undergraduate courses, Dr. Gary enjoys teaching philosophy to medical students and currently incarcerated students.
