About

Min-Sig Hwang, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of the Radiologic Sciences at Drexel University College of Medicine and is the medical physics residency program director at Allegheny Health Network. Since his assuming the directorship of the residency program, he has worked diligently to revise the format and has been successful in recruiting high-quality residents under his leadership. Hwang has mentored more than 10 post graduate medical physics residents to date. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Medical Physics residency program for the Allegheny Health Network as well as the Physics Advisory Committee of the residency program.
Hwang has authored 13 full length, peer reviewed publications and has contributed to approximately the same number of abstracts. He is a peer reviewer for three professional journals of high impact factor. Hwang has also extensively presented nationally and internationally. Hwang is board certified in Therapeutic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology.
