Patrick W. (Bill) Frank, DC, is an associate professor in the Department of Neurobiology & Anatomy at Drexel University College of Medicine’s West Reading Campus. Dr. Frank teaches gross anatomy in the first-year foundational courses and is a group facilitator for the case-based learning course.
Dr. Frank received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic (n.k.a. National University of Health Sciences) in Chicago, Ill.. He received a Diplomate – International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (IAMA) from New York Chiropractic College (n.k.a. Northeast College of Health Sciences) in Seneca Falls, N.Y.
Dr. Frank has 10 years of undergraduate and graduate-level teaching experience acquired during his time at the University of Toledo – College of Medicine & Life Sciences. His commitment to teaching human gross anatomy has earned him multiple teaching awards. He designed undergraduate and graduate level elective courses at the University of Toledo to foster gross anatomy research that has garnered several published manuscripts. While the faculty advisor for the American Medical Student Association – Toledo Chapter, he helped create the Pre-Med Mentorship Program that connected pre-health undergraduate students (especially underrepresented and first-generation students) with Year 2 medical students. His areas of research include documenting anatomical variations and their clinical relevance and the preservation method – plastination. He currently serves as council for the governing body of the International Society for Plastination.
