Air flow through building envelope and the need of air barrier are covered. Resistance to rain penetration and strategies to prevent and limit rain penetration including cavity and screen walls are presented. Roofs and below grade walls are also included. Evaluation, retrofit and maintenance of building envelope are briefly presented.
