Abstract
This chapter reviews current neuroimaging data that gives us clues about the biological effects of psychotherapy and psychotropic medication. It provides a description of how PET, SPECT, and fMRI scans are performed and what data exists to indicate the mechanisms of action of single and combined treatments.
