Cataloging the Bloomberg era: New York City legislation relevant to cardiovascular risk factors

Abstract
Health-relevant legislation in New York City (NYC) was catalogued during 1998-2017. Legislation identified through the NYC Council legislative record portal, 1998-2017 was systematically classified for relevance to four modifiable cardiovascular risk factors. We classified 7.4% of the legislation introduced during the Bloomberg Administration as relevant to selected cardiovascular risk factors.
