Abstract

Ecosystems Land use Resources River basins Rivers Water quality Watershed protection Watersheds
The Delaware River Watershed Initiative (DRWI) was formed to initiate actions that protect and restore water quality within the Delaware River Basin, with the ultimate goal of having watersheds that provide sufficient high-quality water for the ecosystems and human communities. The DRWI developed new tools to integrate science and local land use decisions to help focus limited resources for watershed protection and resources.
