Abstract

Analysis Hall effect Magnetoresistance Phonons
The electronic, thermal and elastic properties of the layered ternary, [Ti.sub.2]SC, are analyzed and the resistivity, Hall effect and magnetoresistance are measured as a function of temperature. The thermal transport results have shown that the phonon contribution to the thermal conductivity is as important as the electronic contribution, suggesting a stiff material, which has agreed with ultrasonic time-of-flight measurements.
