Abstract

Cardiology Hemodynamics Tissue
Myocardial tissue coupling mechanisms responsible for right-left heart (RH-LH) interaction were studied by selectively modulating coronary arterial-venous compartments. In altering the mechanics and energetics of LH, the intramural hydraulic forces, originating in RH, constitute an intrinsic regulatory mechanism of cardiac function.
