Aviel Chaimovich is an associate teaching professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University. He earned his BEng at McGill University and his PhD at the University of California. Before joining the College of Engineering, Aviel notably worked at two Max Planck Institutes through the Alexander von Humbolt Foundation. Academically, Aviel specializes in computational algorithms for modeling liquid systems. He focuses on designing nano-technologies for water treatment by combining mathematical principles with data science. Aviel is also a dual Israeli-American citizen.
