Constantinos Syropoulos, PhD is the Trustee Professor of International Economics in the School of Economics at Drexel University (USA) and a Research Network Fellow at CESifo (Germany). He has served on the editorial boards of the Journal of International Economics and the Journal of Evolutionary Economics. He has also served as a Guest Editor for a Special Issue on “Economics Sanctions” at the European Economic Review.

Prior to joining Drexel University, Syropoulos held academic positions at Florida International and the Pennsylvania State Universities.

His research has addressed issues related to trade agreements, international cartels, economic growth, the political economy of conflict and, more recently, economic sanctions. His work has been published in numerous journals and books, including the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Economic Theory, the Economic Journal, the Rand Journal of Economics, Games and Economic Behavior, the Journal of International Economics, and the European Economic Review, among others.
