About

Dali Ma is an associate professor of management at LeBow College of Business. His research interests are organization theory, status/reputation, entrepreneurship, social networks, sociology of science and technology, and Chinese organizations. His research has been published in Academy of Management Journal, Social Forces and Social Networks. He is a senior editor of Management and Organization Review published by Cambridge University Press. He won the William H. Newman Best Dissertation Paper Award from the Academy of Management (AoM), the Responsible Research Award for analyzing Boeing-737 MAX crashes from AoM’s Organization and Management Theory Division, and the Young Scholar Award from the International Association for Chinese Management Research. He visited University of Virginia as a Batten Fellow and Princeton University as a visiting fellow. He received his BA from Peking University and PhD from the University of Chicago.
