\Dr. Lê-Scherban holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and an MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research centers on health disparities with a focus on children’s health disparities, life course determinants, and immigrant health. She currently leads an NIH-funded project to investigate how food insecurity, neighborhood conditions, and food assistance programs come together to affect growth in young children. She is also Philadelphia site principal investigator of Children’s HealthWatch, a multi-site research and policy network to improve the health and development of young children and their families.
