I obtained my doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. From 2010-2018, I worked in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan as one of the Co-Directors of the Introductory Math Program. My functions included teaching, coordinating large courses and training new instructors to teach using collaborative learning techniques.
