Helen L. Teng is an assistant clinical professor for the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University and the course chair for Population Health Concepts. She has also taught Relationship Based Care and Pharmacology I within the undergraduate nursing curriculum. Teng earned a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her bachelor’s in nursing in 2004 and master’s in nursing in 2007 from the University of Pennsylvania. Teng completed a PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. For her doctoral dissertation, Teng explored the lived experience of recently immigrated low-income aging Chinese men and their engagement with the U.S. healthcare system.
