Kristen McLaughlin, PhD, is an assistant clinical professor in the undergraduate pre-licensure nursing program. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner with over 30 years of pediatric experience. She has clinical practice experience in pediatric cardiology, urology, primary care, anesthesia, and sports medicine/orthopedics. She is an employee at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the Orthopedics Center, where she maintains a weekly clinical practice. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Villanova University, a master’s degree in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) at the University of Pennsylvania, and her PhD at Widener University.
