Martin Herman, MD, is interim chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a professor of orthopedic surgery and pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is a longtime faculty member of Drexel University College of Medicine and its predecessor institutions, having started in 1997 as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and pediatrics. In 2015, he was appointed professor, and became director of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency program, a position he held until 2019.
Since 2006, Dr. Herman has been course director for the Orthopedic Surgery In-training Exam Review Course at St. Christopher’s. He served for many years as a member of Drexel’s Orthopedic Residency Selection Committee and is currently the Orthopedic Surgery Pathway director.
