Dr. Reneé Moore joined Drexel in 2021 as a Research Professor in the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Dornsife School of Public Health (DSPH) and as the Director of the Biostatistics Scientific Collaboration Center (BSC, formerly titled Biostatistics Service Center). In 2023, Dr. Moore because the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at DSPH. Prior to joining Drexel, Dr. Moore held faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania, North Carolina State University, and Emory University. Dr. Moore is an interdisciplinary team scientist with a wealth of experience as a biostatistician collaborating with clinicians, public health practitioners, and scientists. Her earliest work was in methodology for longitudinal data subject to a limit of detection, the design, management and oversight of clinical trials, and obesity research. Dr. Moore has directed collaboration centers for almost ten years now and her collaborations extend to most areas of public health and medicine. Dr. Moore is passionate about helping to facilitate equitable, inclusive learning and working environments and dedicates much of her time to recruiting, training, and retaining the next generation of collaborative biostatisticians and users of statistics.
