Swosti Joshi, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine.She is responsible for the education of medical students, residents and fellows, and has a an interest in simulation-based education.


RESEARCH OVERVIEW

Dr. Joshi's research interests include assessing the safety and efficacy of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) when combined with controlled hypothermia in neonates with moderate to severe hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, as well as the effects of placental transfusion by delayed cord clamping or umbilical cord milking versus immediate cord clamping on neonatal outcomes in very low birth weight neonates.
